The more you praise and celebrate your life, the more there is in life to celebrate! – Oprah Winfrey
I have always said one should be kind and grateful but what I most conveniently forgot is how important it is to celebrate. Yep, that’s right.
Usually we are so busy in just living our lives that we don’t celebrate, unless it’s an occasion. We wait for birthdays and anniversaries, promotions and milestones to celebrate.
Instead how about we choose to celebrate every little thing. Yes, even the small simple things in life. Let’s say your child came home with a cute little artwork he had done in school, may be celebrate that moment with a fun little popsicle of cupcake. Or something similar.
Point is to be thankful and make every moment count, make normal uneventful weekends a time to celebrate. My favorite way to celebrate is with my friends at my home; just with my people, my music , my vibe and of course my food! Occasion to celebrate: Just that I am alive and healthy that day!
So don’t wait for occasions to enjoy life, instead get together with your loved ones, throw impromptu parties and invite everyone to indulge. By the end of the night, all of you will wonder why you never did this before!
This dinner party menu of our home definitely makes an appearance in most parties. Usually we like to serve a host of appetizers, two main course dishes, couple of desserts and lots of drinks.
I have put together a combination 18 recipes to get you through beverages, appetizer, main course & dessert! I have also thrown in a bonus of our beloved popsicle/frozen dessert recipes!
Take a pic and let the celebrations begin!
